Bill Soards was Born and raised a Hoosier, he grew up in Indianapolis. He’s a graduate of Butler University and on a whim – played college basketball in London during a study abroad semester.
Bill was an elected official for nearly 10 years, having served on the Indianapolis City/County Council and then the Boone County Council. Bill began working for AT&T – then Ameritech – nearly 18 years ago in Indianapolis as Director of Government Relations.After 7 years in Indianapolis, 2 years in Chicago, and 5 years in Denver….Bill and his family returned to the Hoosier State in 2013 after being named President of AT&T Indiana.He’s a passionate advocate for technology and innovation.
