April is National Internship Awareness Month and National Volunteer Month. April would be a great time to recognize any interns and volunteers your business has. Interns can get great hands-on experience and make important connections. Similarly, volunteers can be invaluable to succeeding, although many go without recognition. Blogging about your interns and volunteers can help recognize them and celebrate their contributions to your business.
Stress Awareness Month and Records and Information Management Month are both in April (and, if you don’t see the connection, you must not work with any record retention requirements 😂). While business records might make for a boring blog topic, there are many businesses that could blog about various topics related to stress, stress awareness, and stress relief. How does stress affect people working in your industry?
April is also National Pet Month, and who doesn’t love their pets? Whether you share your office animals, invite employees and customers to share their pets, or sponsor pet adoptions in your area, there is something heartwarming you could blog about for this.

- National Brunch Month is for eating brunch.
Does your business serve brunch? You know, that meal between breakfast and lunch, often including the best parts of both. If you serve brunch regularly or only special occasions, April is the time to highlight it and make sure your followers know they can come get a unique meal from your business.
- Spring is coming into full effect in the northern hemisphere.
While March was technically the beginning of Spring, April is really starting to warm up with more flowers, nicer weather, and outdoor activities. For businesses whose prime events are outdoors, you might just be gearing up for 2023, and blogging about changes, updates, and new offerings would make a great blog post.
- April celebrates the music and arts.
People are celebrating National Poetry Month, English Language Month, International Guitar Month, and Jazz Appreciation Month. So, if your business focuses on music and literature, there is sure to be something you can blog about this month.
